Lamplight
Cinematic evening study with a subject and stage picker. Suits experienced tutors covering several subjects and key stages.
MARGIN · WEBSITE FOR TUTORS
Margin is a photo design styled like a well-kept notebook or a school magazine. Subject tabs let parents flip between what you teach, and the layout gives your own voice room to come through.

THE LOOK
Margin is white with faint ruled blue lines, inky navy text and red marks like a teacher’s pen. Headings use a classic serif, captions sit beside photos like notes in a margin, and small touches such as “p. 1” and a term “issue” make it feel like a printed journal. It reads as thoughtful and literate, which suits English, history and languages tutors well.
ON THE PAGE
A tab for each subject, each with a short intro and a list of stages, topics and prices per session.
Your name and specialism, two or three sentences in your own voice, and your DBS, teaching qualification, membership and years of experience.
Free trial, online or in person, then a written note to parents after every lesson.
A layout made for one longer parent review, with up to three shorter ones beside it.
Where lessons take place, exam boards, what parents receive and how much notice to cancel.
Your services, prices, area, opening hours and photos replace the sample wording. Every design also has click-to-call, a WhatsApp button, your social links and up to 3 extra pages.
IS IT FOR YOU?
Margin suits one- or two-subject specialists, such as an English tutor who teaches set texts properly or a languages tutor preparing students for GCSE speaking exams. It works best for tutors who write well and want parents to hear them before they meet.
If you teach a broad spread of subjects and stages, Lamplight’s picker handles that more neatly. If most of your pupils are under 11, Bright Spark is the brighter fit.
PRICE
The Margin design costs nothing to set up. Hosting is £5 a month, and extras like online booking or your own domain are optional. See every price
